Designed to accompany the Whimsical Woodland Poncho (sold separately), but can also be worn as a standalone item. Can be attached to other items of clothing by using buttons, ribbons or sewing. It also works well as a hood liner for large-hooded coats!

Can be made in any size, in any colour. Use a dk or aran/worsted yarn for a cosy winter warmer, or a finer yarn, to create a unique bridal outfit. The choice is yours.
Hood with leafy border in image photos is made using approximately 2.2 balls / approx 640m / 700yds of DK yarn and a 4mm hook.
Hood with simple ribbed border in image photos is made using approximately 1.8 balls / approx 490m / 540yds of dk yarn and a 3.5mm hook.
(each ball of Yarnsmiths Create is approx 317 yards / 290 metres)
The amount of yarn needed will depend on hook size and tension as well as garment size.
